When Victor Arimondi photographed his first male nude in late 1972 he found the ideal canvas to express his artistic vision. Whether he clothed his subjects in ornate, often handmade costumes and masks or let sunlight be their only cover, Arimondi reinterpreted the classic male nude through his lens. Playful, melancholy, claustrophobic or expansive, introspective or brash, he was able to explore his multi-faceted personality through these artistic images.
